TALLINN, 21 May, BNS – Estonian capital based logistics and forwarding company CF&S Estonia increased its sales revenue by 24 per cent last year to nearly to 37 million EUR.
Last year, the operating profit of the company exceeded the two million EUR mark, and CF&S Estonia reports to have invested over 2.3 million EUR in different types of means of transport the previous year.
According to Kuno Väin, member of the Management Board of CF&S Estonia, the financial year ended was the most successful in the history of the Group.
He says that the company forecasts a moderate growth of cargo volumes this year. "Besides Estonia, we also currently operate in Latvia and Russia but we are planning to expand our geographical scope of activity", he said.
The CF&S Estonia Group incorporated in 1997 provides logistics services, which, among other things, include road, sea, railways and air transport as well as warehouse services. The Group employs a total of 90 people in three countries; in Estonia, the company has branches in Tallinn as well as in Paldiski, Pärnu and Kunda.
In its turn, CF&S Estonia is part of the Baltic Maritime Logistics Group, which has companies registered in eight countries where they provide sea, railway and road transport services, likewise stevedore and port services. Besides, the company renders the services of cargo forwarding and representation of shipping lines, ship charter and ship's agency.
